Roobaroo Roshni !

- Firstly, I would like to thank Arignar Anna for having supposed to have turned 100 today. The TN government has declared a holiday and I am feeling really really glad about that ! No Monday blues this week. Phew !

- My internal exams got over last week and currently, I feel like as though I am enjoying my semester holidays

- Watched 3 movies last week

1) Saroja – Nice movie. Cliched storyline but refreshing treatment

2) Rock On – Second half was awesome ! Loved Arjun Rampal, Purab and the girls

3) The Kite Runner – You can skip the second half of the movie if you have already read the book. Watch the first half for ‘Hassan’. (Please do watch all the scenes in which the Pashtuns dance )

- My favourite songs, at present are : Phir Dekhiye (Rock On), I’m Yours (Jason Mraz), Maula mere (Anwar), To Phir Aao (Awarapan) and Run (Snow Patrol)

- Swat, I loved every bit of your loooooong letter Your letter made my day, girl ! Thanks

- For the first time in my life, I watched a basketball match I watched it only because a good friend of mine was a part of the game.

- The past four days were awesome ! Did a lot of catching up

- Braying horrible indipop songs with Laksh till about 3 A.M gets me all hyper !

- Tank-top is one of THE best places in the world

- Had a couple of crazy conference chats with Sharan and Shrey. Reminds me of the good old twelfth standard holidays

- Went for a really long drive yesterday morning with my dad ! One of the best long drives EVER ! I never knew Coimbatore housed such beautiful roads !

- I managed to cook a decent full-fledged lunch for my dad yesterday comprising of murungakkai vethakozhambu, potato curry and thakkali rasam.

Dad’s say (An excerpt from the conversation he had with Mom)- I had dhaniya containing vethakozhambu, konjam extra pulippu rasam, charred jeera containing properly cooked potato curry and overcooked rice for lunch today.

Mom – Does this girl know that dhaniya seeds aren’t methi seeds ?

He gave me a decent 7 on 10. For a first-timer, it is decent, yes. I loved my vethakozhambu
